Touching base on lunch…
It all begins with an idea.
Sorry for the dramatically long break from writing, I actually wrote twice but unfortunately when I use my phone and accidently turn it sideways, everything disappears. Which is wonderful (being sarcastic) because I’m trying to capture my thoughts or ideas in the moment but whatever, I’m still learning how to navigate all this shit online. I mean has anyone even confirmed if these are blogs?! I mean, I’m calling them blogs because I don’t know what else they’d be, but honestly if someone has any input please come forward.
I am trying to follow along in order with these “blogs” and yes I felt the need to bring the quotes back for a moment, but my damn mind isn’t even in order. There’s so much to this last relationship and everything that went down I guess I just didn’t know where to begin. And do I want to begin? Maybe Im putting off having to talk about it all over again, because honestly when I say everything out loud it sounds so absurd. And so to realize I lived with this man’s horrible shit for so long, blinded by this “love” I had for him, that I just feel so completely stupid. I probably should feel even dumber because I still am thinking of him all the time, and I just want this “need” for him to go away! Yes I’m sorry for the overload of quotes thus far but if you started from the beginning, you were warned I’m an addict lol.
But also my memory is so freakin bad I can’t remember what I’ve explained so far, about the other things going on, so forgive me if all of a sudden I mention something out of the blue, or it seems I’m jumping around. See I actually love writing, I’ve enjoyed it since I was a child. I warn you I had decided when writing on here I wasn’t going to be so incredibly anal like I normally am and edit everything, I want to concentrate more on just getting out my actual thoughts and feelings in the moment. So I apologize now for any grammatically incorrect sentences etc. So this time around, with everything falling apart around me, I thought I’d take my love for writing and do this blogging thing. If that’s in fact what it is. Regardless, it’s like journaling so I can get all these swirling thoughts out of my head and onto paper, so to speak. To be able to write, because it’s something I actually enjoy like it’s an art form or something to me. To feel like maybe people in the world are reading, getting a laugh, or whatever it is people get out of reading blogs. Maybe to relate, to see how others are navigating similar things in life. Sometimes I find it personally nice to step out of our own lives and read along with what someone else is doing, just to forget your own problems maybe for a little while. Apparently this is why people say they read books, to “escape” but I’m not really a book reader myself.
Actually wanted to throw this out there…. my mother whom I’m staying with as you know, attends a local book club with people her age. She is 74 but my mom acts a lot younger, and looks a lot younger(lucky me) and so she complains the books they pick are always boring and well probably suited for “old” people. I have thought what if I figure out how we can have a small bookclub on here, what does everyone think? I mean I am 47 and my mom is 74 (just realized same #’s reversed) so I think it could bring quite a nice mix of people to the table. Also it would have to be a group decision each month lets say, on which book to read, sorry no boring old farts here. Please no one be offended, but hey I’m fun and laid back and lowkey kinda crazy so no, I want books that will keep my attention! Plus I just thought it’d maybe be nice to get my mom doing something, especially something with me. She is so technology handicapped it’s not even funny. But that’s ok because I could do that part, we could come post comments and thoughts afterwards and I think older women would like my mom having her “side” of it. Basically a view from that age group. Ok so provide thoughts, input or anything about how we all think this would work?! AND how they heck I would make a section for that lol!
Ya know, I started all this new stuff because like I said before, this break up has changed me like no other before it. I have not come out the same person, and not in a good way. I have decided this time around for my Third Act, ha ha got to use it, I am taking a different approach. I am going to try new things, be more relaxed and comfortable around people and going out. Like trying to make friends and plans to go out, not be a hermit anymore lol. There’s just things that I’ve been doing and I’m just trying to shift my focus on other things I normally wouldn’t cause wtf. Well that was my whole lunch break, I do want to get into moe details about that last statement so I’ll try and hop on tonight after work. I really do wanna make a go of this, a go of “something” really lol.

It all begins with an idea. Maybe you want to launch a business. Maybe you want to turn a hobby into something more. Or maybe you have a creative project to share with the world. Whatever it is, the way you tell your story online can make all the difference.
Don’t worry about sounding professional. Sound like you. There are over 1.5 billion websites out there, but your story is what’s going to separate this one from the rest. If you read the words back and don’t hear your own voice in your head, that’s a good sign you still have more work to do.
Be clear, be confident and don’t overthink it. The beauty of your story is that it’s going to continue to evolve and your site can evolve with it. Your goal should be to make it feel right for right now. Later will take care of itself. It always does.
